Our Dentists

Dr. Geetha J. Damodaran

I was born in India and my family immigrated to the United States before I turned one. I grew up in New Jersey (yes, I was a Jersey girl) and later lived in Arizona for 2 years. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In 1995 I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) at the University of Minnesota School Of Dentistry where I was awarded for excellence in pediatric dentistry. After working in the Twin Cities area for 5 years, I purchased this dental practice.  In the past, I have enjoyed teaching at the University of Minnesota School Of Dentistry. I participate in various study groups (Seattle Study Group, True North Study Club, Spears Study Club, and Twin Cities Implant Group).  I continue to take extensive education classes in order to improve my dentistry and offer the newest technology to my patients.  In my free time, I volunteer my services at the Union Gospel Mission and participate in other charitable dental events.  I am also President-elect in the St. Paul District Dental Society affiliated with the MN Dental Association.

I am passionate about dentistry and I love what I do. I know we are nobody’s favorite place, but I strive to put you and your family at ease. I hope our friendly, warm, and relaxing atmosphere is comforting to our patients. Additionally, my team and I enjoy getting to know each of you.

Dr. Diane Fish

I was born and raised in a small town in northern Minnesota where I learned to love the outdoors and all of the various activities that come with it.  I attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus where I received a Bachelors of Science in Nutritional Science in 2009.  In 2013, I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with an award in excellence in dental biomaterials.  Since graduation, I have been practicing in Maplewood.

I am excited to be a part of Birch Lake Dental. My husband grew up in the White Bear Lake area and is part of the reason I feel grounded to this community.

I enjoy providing quality care in all aspects of dentistry. I strive to have a patient-centered treatment approach, where we work together to ensure treatment that fits your individual needs. I am committed to building lasting relationships with you and having open lines of communication to make certain you understand all aspects of your treatment plan.
